Job Summary:
The profession is Ultrasonographer General located in Griffin, Georgia. This position requires candidates to bring their license on the first day. The role involves performing a variety of ultrasound procedures in a fast-paced healthcare environment, ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient care.
Job Details:
- Locations: Griffin, Georgia
- Shift: Night, Monday to Friday, 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week and a 10-week contract duration
- Required Qualifications: All certifications must be obtained upon hire, including Basic Life Support (BLS) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC-BLS), Basic Life Support Instructor (BLS-I), Registered Medical Sonographer (ARDMS), or ARRT Sonography (ARRT-S). Candidates must have successfully completed a Sonography Training Program and possess a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Excellent communication skills, ability to function independently, work under pressure, and provide excellent customer service. Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask effectively, and interact professionally with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Flexibility with work hours, dependable, accountable, and cooperative are essential.
- Additional Information: The role involves assisting with age-appropriate care, setting up equipment, positioning patients, and performing diagnostic ultrasound exams. The candidate must understand anatomy and pathology to ensure quality procedures and demonstrate independent judgment in equipment utilization and patient care.
- Schedule: Night shift, Mondays through Fridays, 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week minimum.
