We are compromised of Clarkson Hospital, the first hospital in Nebraska, and University Hospital, the primary teaching facility for the University of Nebraska Medical Center. The 689-bed hospital is a trusted source of quality patient care for Omaha as well as for the region and nationally.
The Nebraska Medical Center provides extraordinary care in the full range of clinical specialties. Our transplant center offers stem cell, marrow and solid organ transplant programs that have been rated in the top five in the nation. We also feature a state-of-the-art cardiac cath lab, expanded surgical interventions utilizing robotics, and the only burn care center in Omaha. Innovative practice is continually shown in the tertiary setting, from the trauma center to high-risk labor and delivery, pediatrics and an intensive care nursery.
