Over the next 5-10 years, Saudi Aramco plans the largest capital expansion in their history, including 100+ projects in the trillion dollar+ range. Capital projects include multiple refinery expansions along with new export refineries, multiple petrochemical plants including the largest petrochemical plant ever built, new offshore/onshore production facilities increasing production capacity over a million barrels/day , pipelines, gas plants, terminals, and the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology opening in the fall of 2009.
