Company Overview

The Medical College of Georgia (MCG) and the University of Georgia (UGA) have embarked on a bold plan to address the physician workforce issues of the state of Georgia, by creating a new four-year campus, in Athens, GA home of the UGA campus. The MCG/UGA Medical Partnership Campus, supported by MCG under its LCME accreditation, matriculated its first class in August 2010, and resides in the Interim Medical Partnership building next to the UGA campus. In 2012, the program plans to move to the UGA Health Sciences Campus, presently the Navy Supply Corps School in Athens, just a few miles from the main UGA campus.
